2. Anti-Spam Policy (Zero Tolerance)
Phacteur maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against spam. Sending unsolicited bulk email is prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
Spam includes, but is not limited to:
Unsolicited bulk email (UBE) - sending emails to recipients who have not opted in
Unsolicited commercial email (UCE) - promotional emails without prior consent
Emails sent to purchased, rented, or harvested email lists
Emails with misleading or deceptive subject lines
Emails with forged or manipulated headers
Chain letters or pyramid schemes
Phishing attempts or emails impersonating other entities
Requirements for legitimate email marketing:
Recipients must have explicitly opted in to receive your emails
You must provide a clear and working unsubscribe mechanism
You must honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days
Your email must include accurate sender identification
Your email must include a valid physical mailing address
3. Prohibited Content
You may not use Phacteur to send, store, or distribute:
Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
Malware, viruses, worms, or other malicious code
Phishing content designed to steal credentials or personal information
Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
Harassing, threatening, or abusive content
Content promoting illegal activities
Child exploitation material (reported to authorities)
Content promoting violence or terrorism
Fraudulent or deceptive content
4. Prohibited Activities
Attempting to bypass or circumvent sending limits
Using automated systems to send emails without proper throttling
Harvesting email addresses from websites or other sources
Sharing account credentials with unauthorized parties
Using the service to attack or probe other systems
Interfering with the service or its security measures
Reselling or redistributing the service without authorization
Creating accounts for the purpose of abuse or spam
5. Bounce and Complaint Handling
To maintain high deliverability and protect our sending reputation, we actively monitor bounce and complaint rates:
Bounce Rate Requirements:
Hard bounce rate must remain below 5%
Addresses that hard bounce are automatically suppressed
Accounts exceeding bounce thresholds may be suspended
Complaint Rate Requirements:
Spam complaint rate must remain below 0.1% (1 per 1000 emails)
Users who file complaints are automatically unsubscribed
High complaint rates will result in immediate account review
6. Sending Limits
To ensure fair usage and prevent abuse, the following limits apply:
New accounts are subject to reduced sending limits during the initial period
Sending limits are based on account history and reputation
Bulk email campaigns should be sent gradually, not all at once
Rate limits apply to both API and web-based sending
7. Enforcement
Violations of this policy will be addressed as follows:
Warning:For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning and require corrective action.
Suspension:Serious or repeated violations may result in temporary account suspension.
Termination:Severe violations, including spam or illegal content, will result in immediate and permanent account termination.
8. Reporting Abuse
If you receive spam or abusive content from a Phacteur user, or if you believe your account has been compromised, please report it immediately to:
